Abstract
THIS communication describes a method for making visible those regions of solid malignant tumours supplied with flowing blood; if necessary, within a few seconds. We have found that the blood in the interior of many tumours is not in communication with the circulation, and that the only part of such tumours which receives flowing blood is a thin layer at the periphery, varying in thickness from a few millimetres to, in extreme cases, less than 0.1 mm.
