In this Letter, functional diversity and evenness were calculated using log10, but it has been drawn to our attention that the calculations should have been made with natural logs (Table 2). Recalculation does not change the relative levels of diversity; however, this reanalysis showed that a mistake was made in the original evenness calculation. Corrected values are shown in Table 1 below.
