Following GP1 outlined for compound 4, in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-i-propanol (HFIP), dimethylamine 40 wt% solution in water (12.7 µL, 0.1 mmol) gave 81 (9 mg, 74%) as an oil. Following GP2 outlined for compound 45, in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-i-propanol (HFIP), dimethylamine hydrochloride (8 mg, 0.1 mmol) gave 81 (8 mg, 63%) as an oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.25 (2H, m), 6.77-6.71 (3H, m), 2.95 (6H, s).
