Aims & Scope

npj Aging considers research that explores all aspects of the biology of aging, applying this knowledge to clinical practice, and addressing the broader implications of aging on individuals and society. The journal considers clinical studies as well as interventions aiming to extend healthy longevity.

The journal offers more choice to Nature Portfolio authors who are seeking a fully open-access and more inclusive platform for publishing their work. The journal is led by experts in aging who collaborate to cultivate high-quality research.
