Absence of Carbon Monoxide-sensitive Respiration in a Streptomycin-dependent Mutant of Escherichia coli grown in Limited Amount of Streptomycin

Abstract

Miller and Bohnhoff1 were the first to report the existence of streptomycin-dependent micro-organisms. Since then various species of bacteria have been found to give rise to streptomycin-dependent mutants2–4.
