Abstract
TWO publications1 have recently been received which would indicate that decided progress is now being made in industry in India, owing to the stress involved under war conditions. The Indian Munitions Board undertook its formal duties as a Department of the Government of India in April, 1917, its primary function being the utilisation to the utmost extent of Indian resources in materials of all kinds required for the prosecution of the war.
