Abstract
DURING recent years, Verzár and his co-workers have tried to demonstrate that the adrenal cortical hormone plays an important part in the phosphorylations of the body. They have, among other facts supporting this hypothesis, shown that lactoflavine has no B2-effect in adrenalectomized rats. In these, however, the full vitamin effect is obtained by lactoflavine-phosphate1. They have further shown that in adrenalectomized rats the liver contains abnormally small amounts of fixed lactoflavine2.
