Anion Exchange Chromatography and Molecular Size of Deoxyribonucleic Acid

Abstract

IN conjunction with investigations on deoxyribonucleic acid isolated from white blood cells of patients with leukæmia (Polli, E. E., Rosoff, M., di Mayorca, G., and Cavalieri, L. F. (unpublished) and ref. 1), an interesting correlation was found between the molecular parameters of the acid and their chromatographic profiles obtained by fractionation on columns of ‘Ecteola’2.
