From: Deformation-induced endothelin B receptor-mediated smooth muscle cell apoptosis is matrix-dependent
ET-1-dependent SMC proliferation as assessed by immunofluorescence analysis (Ki67-positive nuclei) of SMC derived from (A) the rabbit carotid artery (RbCA SMC) and (B) the rabbit jugular vein (RbJV SMC) grown on collagen-coated glass cover slides (glass) or collagen, laminin or fibronectin elastomers.
