The PCA is based on 414 datapoints. Each PC1 sliding window is defined to have width 1.0 (on the scale of PC1) and overlap width of 0.5 with other sliding windows, i.e., the center of the PC1 sliding window occurs at every 0.5 interval. The error bars are defined as the mean(PC2) ± SE(PC2), i.e., mean of the PC2 values within the sliding PC1 windows +/− standard error of the PC2 values. Number of samples in each sliding window, left to right, is 12, 25, 48, 50, 37, 35, 28, 20, 21, 22, 33, 35, 51, 89, 104, 86, 64, 42.
