a The fan diagram of the longitudinal conductivity (σxx) shows well-resolved quantum Hall states at the base temperature of 9 K. The measurements were made on the BGB-1 device of Fig. 4. b The transition of Hall conductivity (σxy) to ν = −2 commences at ≈40 mT. c The lifting of the zero-energy Landau level degeneracy begins at below 1 T. These observations indicate the high quality of the two-dimensional electronic system in our graphene heterostructure.
