Images of aerosol particles reconstructed from a single hologram showing particles at different axial locations in the sensing volume as indicated in the central diagram. The field trial is a flight of the HAPI instrument over an agricultural dirt road with active traffic. Red arrows in the images show the particle that is in best focus.
