Intestinal LPDCs induce Th17 cell development.
(A) CBir1 Tg CD4 T cells were labeled with CFSE and transferred into TCRβ×δ−/− mice. The mice were gavaged with CBir1 flagellin the same day. Cytokine production of CBir1 Tg CD4 T cells in spleen and intestinal LP was determined by intracellular staining 3 days later. FACS plots are representative of 3 independent experiments.
