In this Review, Gandhiet al. explore the idea that these conditions can be treated by targeting the common proximal drivers of type 2 inflammation, which include interleukin-4 (IL-4), IL-5 and IL-13, and discuss the supporting clinical evidence as well as candidate drugs in development.
